Welcome to Renmore AFC, bringing soccer to Galway since 1973.

Mission Statement
Renmore AFC was founded in 1973 to provide a forum for the young people of Renmore and its environs to safely and positively express themselves and improve themselves through the medium of soccer.

The club and its coaches and committee tries to provide an environment where all members are able to train; develop their abilities; enhance their fitness levels; and play friendly and competitive games - all in a safe and organised manner.

We strive to help every member make the most out of their time with the club and develop their football skills to the maximum of their ability. We also work on helping members develop other aspects of their abilities - confidence, ability to organise, leadership, planning.

General Notices to prarents and players.

Child Protection Drop-off/Pick-up Policy - Applies to all attending Saturday morning training sessions
Following advice from our Child Protection Officer, our Senior Academy Coach, feedback from parents and aligning to recommendations from Football Association of Ireland and Irish Sports Council, Renmore AFC have implemented and will adhere to the following drop-off and pick-up policy.

All players will be dropped off by parents to Dressing Rooms in our clubhouse 10 minutes before training begins and all payers will be picked up in clubhouse by parents at end of scheduled training session. We will no longer allow children to run off after training into waiting cars where we do not know where they have gone. Parents will come into the clubhouse to collect children.  There is ample parking to facilitate this requirement.  Parents can direct any questions on this to Tom Hurley or Niall Murphy on Saturday morning. As with all aspects of the club,  we ask for and need your support in this endeavour.  This is for your kids safety so we fully expect your support.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Have you Submitted Registration Form and Paid Full Fee?
Renmore would like to alert parents and guardians that registration fees need to be paid in full for all players. We understand that it can be difficult  for families with lots of fees to be paid out in September and October, but timely and complete payment of player subscriptions ensures:

1.    Players are covered under clubs insurance policy
2.    We can cover the costs of running of the club

Incomplete or non- payment of subscriptions results in increased fundraising efforts to meet club commitments, placing additional pressure on the club administrators.

You can download the registration form and drop completed forms into the registrations desk in the Renmore AFC Clubhouse along with your payment (cheque/cash). Registration fees will be confirmed upon request. All registration to be completed in September please.

If you have not registered with the club and paid the full fee, you need to do one of the following immediately:

    * Speak with your childs team manager
    * Call into the Clubhouse on Saturday morning (10am-1pm) and speak with one of the administrators
    * Call Tom Hurley on 087 7729089 to discuss outstanding registration fees.

Please note that players with outstanding fee amounts may not be permitted to train or play with Renmore AFC as unsubscribed players are not covered for club activities under the clubs insurance policy. Refunds are not available for player subscriptions where players have started to participate in training or games.

Want to help us or become a coach?
Renmore AFC welcome new additions to the committee/admin/coaching teams. If you have a particular set of skills or range of experience (such as coaching, web design, marketing, Public Relations, First Aid, business management or accounting, administration, etc.) or if you just want to offer your support and help out, we would be delighted to talk with you and figure out how you can get involved.

We invite those with kids in the club or with a genuine interest in getting involved in grass roots soccer to complete the Coach Application Form and  Garda Vetting Form . The Vetting Form is mandatory in accordance with FAI and Irish Sports Council recommended practice and our Child Protection Policy and you must complete all relevant sections.

You can submit the completed forms to the Renmore AFC Clubhouse on Saturday mornings when the academy is running.  You can also provide to any of the committee members or alternatively,  contact Tom Hurley 087 7729089 to discuss how you can help us.
