The Annual Renmore AFC Player of the
Year Awards Night took place in theScout
Den in Renmore on Sunday
31st May. Our thanks to all that turned up on the
night to support the event - players, their families
and friends and those that have supported the club during the
year.
We celebrated the acheivements of the
season and recognised
those that have contributed during the year,
dinstinguished themselves on the field and for the Juveniles
and below, those that have developed the most. This event also
held the distinction of being the final awards night in
'borrowed' accommodation. We hope to hold next year's
awards ceremony in our own building!
The Club Chairman,
Mike Crowe gave an introductory speech thanking all that
helped to make the season a success. Pete Power gave a
progress report on the new clubhouse including the
success of the fundraising initaitive. Pete
also discussed some club business with parents
including discussing the effort that goes into managing
the club on and off the pitch and issuing an
invitation to parents to get involved in helping the
committee and managers.
Refreshments were
provided including teas/coffees and eats for the
adults and drinks and snacks for the kids and everyone went
home happy with another season finished. Our thanks to all
that played, helped or supported during the
year.
